I’m Vegan is still in pre-production. We will use this page to share videos from behind the scenes during production and, once a few profile videos have been edited, they will be shared on this page as well.

This short segment was cut from Risa’s final profile. In this bonus clip, Risa recalls when she used to eat KFC, and how “distancing” worked to keep her from thinking about what (or who) we are eating.

Julia is an 11-year vegan living in Springfield, MO at the time this profile was shot, where she studied social work at a Christian college. She’s 26 years old. This feedlot just off I-8 caught our attention as the I’m Vegan crew was heading to San Diego from Tucson. This operation was simply huge, and what you see here is just the end we could get closest to legally, so it doesn’t really give you a sense of the scale.
